In anul 1977, ONU a declarat ziua de 8 Martie Ziua Natiunilor Unite pentru drepturile Femeilor si Pace Internationala. De atunci aceasta este marcata in fiecare an printr-un mesaj simbolic. Pentru 2O1O, mesajul este: Drepturi egale, oportunitati egale: progres pentru toti!
Cu bucurie va invitam sa cititi anunturile legate de Conferinta UNIFERO 2010 de la Piatra Neamt! In curind, vor fi postate si informatii despre taxele de participare. Va ASTEPTAM! La cererea colegilor din educatie, se primesc inscrieri la cele doua concursuri pina la data de 30 APRILIE.
UNIUNEA INTERNATIONALA A FEMEILOR ROMANE, UNIFERO sau O Alta Stare, de Bine, pentru femei Bine ati venit pe website-ul UNIFERO, website al organizatiei non profit si non guvernamentala cu acelasi nume, dedicata femeilor romane in special si femeii in general. Inca din 2002 am avut idea si speranta infiintarii unei astfel de organizatii care sa devina in fapt o platforma si o porta voce pentru femeile romane din tara si dinafara ei, o organizatie in care sa se regaseasca si femeile din oricare parte a lumii, indifferent de rezidenta, grup etnic, pozitie sociala, calificare profesionala, virsta, denominatie religioasa, sau preocupari. In 2004 si 2006 incercam o incitare care nu s-a materializat.
Iata cum in Februarie 2007 actul de nastere al UNIFERO a fost semnat. La acest eveniment deosebit au contribuit si continua sa contribuie Mariana Valentina GUSETU, Viorel MAIER, Sisila DULDURESCU, Maria MACHEDON, Elena Angela SILISTRARU, Carmen PANKAU, Minodora TOPALA, Monica SCRIDON, Luiza Butnaru, Ludmila Bolbocean, si nu in ultimul rind, Claudia si Dan DANCIU, Ioan Drimus si Tony Anton
Va invit sa fiti cu noi in eforturile acestei organizatii care urmareste: includere nu excludere si identificarea potentialului fiecareia dintre noi; incurajare pentru folosirea capacitatilor femeilor si gasirea locului potrivit pe piata muncii; recuperarea experientei profesionale si de viata, a confidentei in propria persoana; identificarea problemelor cu care ne confruntam si gasirea unor solutii la nivel micro (familie, comunitate) dar si macro (societate); evaluarea situatiilor actuale a drepturilor acordate de societate si punerea acestora in aplicare; utilizarea la maximum a potentialului si a calitatilor de buni diplomati, cercetatori,de buni evaluatori si creatori ai ambiantului propice de pace si lucru in echipa la locul de munca sustinere in educarea pentru familii durabile si sanatoase
Sintem confruntate cu numeroase probleme pe care insa impreuna le vom putea evalua si speram rezolva: aroganta sexului opus, mentalitati medievale, suprasolicitare si incarcare cu responsabilitati, noi situatii caracteristice societatii secolului 21, etc. Fiecare din noi este parte din angrenajul general care nu functioneaza la capacitatea sa reala daca lipseste o piesa. Va asteptam cu drag sa fim prezente la zborul pasarii Phoenix!
In si prin UNIFERO visuri se pot transforma in realitati.

From the President’s Desk International Union of Romanian Women, UNIFERO Inc., or A Well Being Status for Women Welcome to our gathering! International Union of Romanian Women, UNIFERO, Inc. is a non profit and non governmental organization, established in Atlanta, The United States of America two years ago. It dedicates its activities to the identification and solution finding for difficult situations that women all over the world, and in particular the Romanian women, are confronted with. Our constituents are women of different ages, professional background, religious denomination, ethnicity, and residence who need help in finding their way for the inclusion in our society, recognition of their qualities and potential, for the benefit of the global family. We have received messages from representatives of different gender organizations, businesses, members of the Atlanta Consular Corp, Chambers of Commerce, other institutions, and supporters from all over the world who are involved in activities aiming at finding solutions for the problems that this important segment of the global civil society, women, are facing. Since 2002 when I found it necessary to found an organization that would become the platform and voice for the Romanian women inside and outside the country, an organization in which any and all women from all over the world can find their place, regardless of their residence, ethnicity, social status, professional background, interests, age, or religious belief.The birth certificate of UNIFERO was signed in February 2007. I was joined in this voluntary action by people representing countries like Romania, Republic of Moldova, France, Israel, Italy, Germany, Spain. Mariana Valentina Gusetu, Viorel Maier, Sisila Duldurescu, Vitalia PAVLICENCO, Raisa PADUREAN, and Florentina BAN were the front runners.I invite you to be with us in the effort of this organization whose goals are: Inclusion and identification of our strengths· Encouragement for the use of women’s capacity to make the world a better place to live· Maximum usage of their qualities and skills as good diplomats, researchers, mothers, wives, good evaluators and creators of an appropriate peaceful environment· Support for finding the right place on the work market· Gaining and exchange of professional and life experience· Identification of problems with which we are confronted· Finding solutions at community, national, and international levels for the benefits of humanity· The estimation and evaluation of the actual women’s rights that societies over the world grant, and also their effectiveness· Support education for durable and healthy families, against domestic violence, abuse, neglect, humiliation, and human traffickingWe are confronted with multiple problems now maybe more than ever. However, our hope is that together we will be able to evaluate and resolveissues like arrogance of some members of the opposite gender, medieval mentalities, overworked and overloaded workplace environment. Each one of us is part of the general engine that cannot function at its real potential if any of us is missing.As veterans for the benefit of a country, a family or of the whole world we recognize and celebrate you who witness and support the flight of the Phoenix.With UNIFERO dreams can become reality.
